Job Type: Seasonal- 6- 8 weeks, 7 days a week, 10-12 hours daily

Location: Lake Wales/ Frostproof FL

Expected Start & End Date: April 28– Middle of June (Start and end date may vary). 

Description: Jim Rash Inc. is seeking a self- managed, motivated individual to join our team this summer. Job duties will include:

• Checking in semi-truck drivers.

• Inspecting trailers for hazards/ food safety concerns

• Checking out semi-truck drivers.

• Labeling appropriate watermelon bins according to fruit size.

• Attaching the correct traceability label on each watermelon bin as it’s loaded.

• Uploading bill of ladings into software.

• Additional tasks may vary.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license

• Positive attitude

• Ability to work in fast paced environment

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Ability to solve problems and make decisions

Compensation:

• $13 an hour (No overtime wages provided per FLSA agriculture exemption; individuals will still be paid for hours worked over 40. For example, if you work 60 hours, you will be paid $13 an hour for all 60 hours)

 

Due to the nature of our business, interns will be expected to work outside/ in a produce packing environment.
